There are some families that come into my life as a photographer, and stay as they go through all phases of life together. I’ve been lucky enough to know James since our ages were still in single digits, he is a childhood friend’s little brother. While his height has changed significantly since we were 9, he is still the same kind and funny person he has always been. When I first met Liz, it was so clear they were meant to do life together. From dancing with sea lions at their engagement session, to petting penguins on their wedding day and everything in between — this little family is the real deal.

We got to take a moment on my last trip to Long Island to document baby G settling into their family. We danced to metal (Big sister A’s favorite), ate lots of string cheese, and played in their home. Seeing these two go from the warmest of people as a couple, to being an extraordinary parenting team is nothing but a joy. Welcome to the world G, you are already so deeply loved.
