Polly + John – Joyful The Foundry Inn and Suites Wedding Photos, Buffalo NY

If you have ever met Polly and John, you know how amazing they are together. They have this effortless way on being together and make their lives an adventure while bringing their loved ones along with them. They were roommates in college and, according to their equally funny officiant, their entire friend group knew that they were meant to be from the start — neither one of them would tell the other their true feelings. They finally did, and have been making life fun together ever since. Their wedding day was one of my most anticipated weddings of the year (and last year), and oh boy did it blow past every expectation.

Their magical wedding day started the morning at the Foundry, where Polly was surrounded by her very favorite humans. There were heartfelt gifts of heirloom jewelry, the kindest friends, and non-stop laughter. After taking a sweet moment with Polly’s parents (first looks with whoever holds that place in your heart are forever my favorite), we made our way over to Polly and John’s first look.

Now this year’s weather has been absolutely bonkers, but apparently the only gorgeous fall foliage in all of Buffalo was right in the courtyard at The Foundry. Polly and John’s faces lit up from the moment they saw each other, and those grins never dimmed for a moment for the rest of the day. We danced our way through Delaware Park for their portraits, and right into their ceremony.

Polly and John were married by a dear friend with all of their favorite people there to watch. It was arguably one of the funnier ceremonies that I have heard in almost 150 weddings, and it couldn’t have been more fitting for these two. They exchanged equally charming vows and sealed it all in with a kiss and a cheer.

That energy only went up as the night went on from there. We danced, ate french fries, listened to heartfelt toasts, cried during incredibly sweet parent dances, slow-danced underneath glittering lights, and celebrated the heck out of two magnificent humans. There couldn’t have been a better day for two more wonderful humans, it was perfect.
