Every once in awhile, we have a group into the studio for a boudoir party. It’s a bunch of folks who are all on different steps of their body love journey in the same room dancing around in whatever makes them feel empowered. We blast music, cheer each other on, and take up all the space we damn well please. It’s like existing in a room full of Lizzo’s saying that you’ve got this shit.
Because in reality, you do. You are so capable of handling whatever you are facing down and better yet, there is a whole world for of folks wanting to cheer you on.
I want you to see yourself the way your best friends do, to look at yourself through the eyes of who you love the most. So at the studio, we let the cellulite free (literally every SINGLE adult person has it), rolls get to roll, thighs touch if they want to, and you don’t have to contort yourself into whatever position existed for you within the framework of the male gaze.
We are about celebrating every damn inch of space you take up, because you’re pretty freaking great.
