Cait and Zach – Rochester Riverside Hotel Wedding Photos, Rochester NY

From the second that Cait answered the door in her Khaleesi shirt with a huge grin on her face, I knew it was going to be a great day. Cait has this laugh that leaves you laughing along with her, even if you have no idea why it started in the first place. Zach is all kindness and warmth and is the perfect balance to Cait’s bubbly personality. Cait and Zach love their city, so their wedding day was Rochester from head to toe. From their invitations to their photo locations, we truly did the tour of Rochester.

We started the morning at the Rochester Riverside Hotel where a killer 90’s playlist set the mood for what would be an all about celebration. They danced around while preparing for a magnificent day (hand of the queen and all). After hair and makeup were perfected, we got Cait ready to walk down the aisle.

To know Cait’s family is to know how close they are, Cait’s father beamed the whole way down the aisle. The only grin larger than the faces walking down the aisle was the man waiting at the end of it. Zach was overcome with emotion as that “oh my god we are really getting married” moment hit him. Their ceremony was a magnificent combination of sentimental and funny and was such a great representation of who they are together. After dancing their way back down the aisle and hugs from their loved ones, we hopped onto their limo to take the tour of Rochester for their portraits.

They grinned their way through portraits and right into their party. Now that energy I mentioned earlier? It kicked into high gear. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the joy in the room was tangible. They danced, they sang, there were some feats and flexibility and a chair dance. They celebrated the heck out of Cait and Zach starting this new chapter in their lives together.
