Ashley and Alex – Marcy Casino Brunch Wedding, Buffalo NY

Ashley and Alex are all sweetness and warmth. We spent the morning before their intimate brunch wedding walking around the beauty that is Delaware Park, with a visit from their sweet pup. They laughed and grinned their way all the way into their intimate ceremony on the Marcy Casino patio. Through pouring rain — it’s good luck, right? — they were finally married in a lovely ceremony performed by one of the liveliest Rabbi’s I have ever met.

That sense of joy and celebration swept their loved ones right into their brunch reception. Amid toasts, a face full of cake, and a horah, Alex and Ashley took the next step in their lives together. They left in a flurry of the dried petals from all of the flowers Alex gave Ashley over the years. It was the perfect representation of two wonderfully kind people.

Cheers you two! You are truly extraordinary!

  • As we enter into our last bit of time with Ellie, I’m so grateful to have been blessed with this little gremlin. We argue (and I lose) almost every day, she is my constant shadow that has no concept of personal space, and my favorite taste tester. She has been with us for our entire marriage, and has seen so many adventures along the way. I don’t know what I’m going to do not being woken up a dog staring at me .5 inches from my face every morning, or how I’m going to chop any vegetables without having to make a little snack board for her, but I’m grateful for every minute we’ve had with this weirdo dog. Emails and inquiries will be answered as usual, but I’ll be quieter on social media for a bit. Hug your furry ones a little tighter for us this week.

  • Even 100% dense cloud cover during the whole solar eclipse didn’t dim the joy of these two for even a minute. My cheeks still hurt from laughing the whole day celebrating Liz and Jesse, it was extraordinary.
