From the very first second that you meet Anna and Anastasia, their love is a tangible feeling. It is all in the little moments they take together; the shared glances and grasped fingers. They both laugh with their entire bodies and adore everyone around them. It was only fitting that their wedding day was full of warmth, joy, and the perfect amount of beautiful snow.
We started the morning at The Foundry Suites, where Anna and Anastasia prepared for their wedding day by each other’s side. Their dearest friends surrounded them while we all danced around to 90’s pop songs (yes, the “I Want It That Way” choreography ever leaves your head), and Turning Heads perfected their wedding day looks. While they did start the day together, Anna and Stasia chose to place the finishing touches on separately.
Above all else, Anna and Stasia were just so thrilled to be marrying one another. From the moment they saw each other as brides (seriously, look at their faces. Yes, we were all choked up) that beaming grin never dimmed for the rest of the day. They showed daring, determined resolution, ventured outdoors with their best mates and braved the frigid temperatures and delicately swirling snowflakes. We laughed our way through Albright Knox, Sheas, and Lafayette Square for their portraits before making it back for their intimate ceremony.
In continuing with the sentimentality of their day, Stasia and Anna’s ceremony was officiated by Stasia’s father. It was the perfect combination of funny and sweet, and completely reflected who they are together. They walked back down the aisle for the first time as a married couple amid cheers from their friends and family.
That atmosphere of celebration only went up from there. There were heartfelt toasts, moment-filled dances, a 90-year-old grandma that out-danced the whole room, a spectacular dessert bar (glittery donuts should exist everywhere), and a joyous party to celebrate Anna and Stasia taking this new step in their lives together.
Anna and Stasia – Congratulations you two! It was the perfect celebration of you two, and it could it have been a more spectacular wedding day. Thank you for your kindness and for living in every single moment. Enjoy your honeymoon!
