Daizi and Justin – Unique Maternity Photography, Buffalo NY

To know Daizi and Justin is to adore them. They are warm, quirky, full-of-life, and they have these laughs that leave everyone in the immediate area laughing along with them. They are equal parts sarcasm and kindness, and their wedding was one I will never forget. When Daizi messaged me about their pregnancy, I squealed so loudly that my dog thought I was dying.

When we were originally planning their session, they wanted a balance of beautiful photographs and images that are still them. We started at the Botanical Gardens and wandered among the lush greenery. What you don’t see here is them laughing their way through tons of children dressed as fairies (apparently it was fairy day, we missed the memo). For the part that felt like them, as they fell deeper in love through fitness (they are both power-lifters), it only made sense to take some portraits in their home gym.

As we did on their wedding day, we laughed the day away and took images, we laughed our way through the afternoon. If Baby Schiano has even half the heart, bravery, kindness, and sense of humor she will be the most wonderful little girl. Especially with parents that sing to their pizza and spend their life laughing.
