Megan and Rob – Candid Buffalo Backyard Wedding Photos, Eden NY

I’ve been lucky enough to know Megan and her family for quite a few years now, her sister Lauren is a dear friend. From the moment I met them all it was so clear to see how much they adore each other. Rob has been nothing but a wonderful addition to that dynamic. In a nod to their love for family, Megan and Rob were married at Megan’s childhood home surrounded by the humans that they love the most in this world.

We started the morning surrounded by Megan’s favorite women as they helped each other prepare for the day. Kristen, the resident family makeup artist, continued her tradition of helping her sisters prepare for their wedding days. Amid sweet gifts, hysterical laughter, and some of the prettiest details that felt oh so very Megan (officially my favorite wedding day earrings ever) — we got Megan and Rob ready for the rest of their magical day.

After a brief frog-catching escapade, they walked down the aisle to their beautiful ceremony in the woods. There were heartfelt vows, beautiful nods to their familial traditions, and the sweetest first kiss. They practically danced their way back down the aisle in celebration. Megan and Rob were finally married and every person there could not have been happier for them.

That joy carried all the way through their portraits (seriously how cute are they) and into their reception. We danced, ate amazing food, and celebrated the heck out of the day. There were desserts hand-made by family, lovely toasts, emotional dances with parents, and just the very best of people. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
