Carly + Alex – Cozy Rochester Newborn Photos

I think Carly’s total number for being a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed was up to 5 before ever got to her intimate ceremony in 2020. Her and Alex have been so sweet together since the start, so it makes perfect sense that they are the lovliest little family since welcoming their peanut.

We snuggled up soaking in all of that new baby goodness in their beautiful home, had visits from the excited big sister Beesley (and the less excited but equally interested other furry sibling), and took a moment to include the two people that they wish could be there to witness it all. This family is something special, the world is a kinder place with them in it.

  • As we enter into our last bit of time with Ellie, I’m so grateful to have been blessed with this little gremlin. We argue (and I lose) almost every day, she is my constant shadow that has no concept of personal space, and my favorite taste tester. She has been with us for our entire marriage, and has seen so many adventures along the way. I don’t know what I’m going to do not being woken up a dog staring at me .5 inches from my face every morning, or how I’m going to chop any vegetables without having to make a little snack board for her, but I’m grateful for every minute we’ve had with this weirdo dog. Emails and inquiries will be answered as usual, but I’ll be quieter on social media for a bit. Hug your furry ones a little tighter for us this week.

  • Even 100% dense cloud cover during the whole solar eclipse didn’t dim the joy of these two for even a minute. My cheeks still hurt from laughing the whole day celebrating Liz and Jesse, it was extraordinary.
