Madeleine and Louis – A joy-filled Piedmont Club Wedding, Haymarket VA

Madeleine and Louis’ have had their wedding in the works for over 2 years now, and on their third wedding day we were finally able to celebrate these two in the way they deserved. They are one-of-a-kind humans that are so deeply in love and their best adventure is yet to come.

We started the day with Madeleine and her favorite women while they prepared for the wedding day. There were sweet dance moves, sentimental details, and a visit from a particular hobbit. Madeleine’s goal for her wedding look was Eowyn vibes, and oh boy did she nail it. After we attached her wedding cape and heirloom ring, we made our way to go find her wonderful husband, Louis.

When I say these two are deeply in love, I mean it. They are so utterly at home with each other and were a joy to photograph. We danced out way through the glorious fall sun and met up with their equally lovely wedding party for the rest of their portraits. With swish of a dress and a diadem readjustment, we made our way over to their sunset ceremony.

From the very second Madeleine and Louis locked eyes as she walked down the aisle, they never let each other’s gaze go. Amid heartfelt readings, a serenade from a bridesmaid that was unable to travel from Ireland, arguably the world’s sweetest vows, and beautiful religious traditions, Madeleine and Louis were married. The energy and excitement was palpable throughout every guest there, everyone was just so thrilled for these two on their next adventure.

Their reception was truly a celebration for the ages. There were stellar dance moves, toasts that had us crying laughing, and sweet dances with the special people in their lives. We partied the night away for these two, and ended the day with one of the most well coordinated sparkler exits I have ever seen. There couldn’t have been a sweeter celebration for two kinder humans.
