If you have ever met Kelly or Kathleen, you know how special they are. As individuals they have gone on a lifetime of adventures and spend a lot of their time helping those around them. Together though? They are a powerhouse of unconditional love and support. They are extraordinary and make the world a brighter place. For their wedding day, they just wanted to celebrate their love together with their very favorite humans (and celebrate we did).

We started the morning with each of their families — both Kathleen and Kelly had their sisters as their wedding party. Both houses that morning were buzzing with excitement, everyone there was just so thrilled that sister found the right person to spend their lives with. There were single digit old babies, class rings, sing-a-longs, card games, and the kindest of people all around. After getting them both dressed, we made our way over to Climbing Bines for their first look.

From the second they saw each other, Kelly and Kathleen were completely at peace. We spent some time wandering through the hops vines and around the gorgeous property at Climbing Bines before their sweet ceremony.

That joy didn’t dim for a moment as they walked up the aisle to finally be married. There were sweet vows, heartfelt readings, and a whole lot of sentimental touches by the officiant, Kelly and Kathleen’s sister-in-law. Through happy tears and eye-closed laughter, they promised to love each other unconditionally. The joy there was palpable as their vows were sealed with a kiss and Kelly and Kathleen grinned their way back down the aisle and into their reception.

When I asked Kelly and Kathleen what they were most excited for on their wedding day (besides the whole getting married part), they both said to celebrate with their loved ones. And celebrate they did. There were some of the most loving toasts that I’ve ever heard, parent dances with some stellar moves, a surprise flash mob and a packed dance floor for the entirety of the night. There couldn’t have been a more fitting celebration for two more extraordinary people.
