Tess and Nate – A Joy-Filled Pearl Street Grill Wedding, Buffalo NY
If you have ever even seen Tess and Nate together, you know how well they fit together. They have this sense of complete ease around each other, and they immediately make everyone else around them feel at home. From their Canalside engagement session, to our planning meetings, I have never spent less than an hour chatting with them (we took the scenic route at the engagement session, thanks for the save Nate). What started with two coworkers always fighting has blossomed into an extraordinary relationship.
We started at Salon Envy, where Tess has been going since she was a teenager, where the room was abuzz with excitement. Tess has surrounded herself with the warmest and wonderful humans; everyone was just so thrilled to be a part of the joy of the day. After hair and makeup were perfected, dresses were buttoned, and veils placed, we made our way over to their lovely ceremony (with an en route serenade).
As Tess walked down the aisle, the whole room was grinning right along with Nate. Beyond Tess looking stunning, the love in the room was palpable. They exchanged vows through tears and laughter (Nate cried first, Tess joined in once he started), and scooped each other up for the best kiss of their lives thus far. Amid cheers from their very people, Tess and Nate danced their way back down the aisle, out the church doors, and onto their portraits.
Now up until that morning, we had been stressing about the impending storms (dearest Buffalo weather, please get it together for wedding season). Mother Nature must have known how special these two are because the rain held out until we had finished portraits. Tess, Nate and their wedding party refused to let even the 30+ mph winds dampen their smiles and impromptu dance parties.
Those dance parties were just the start of the celebration. As we made our way into their reception, the party just went up from there. They toasted (including some creative life advice from Grandma), danced their butts off, and had the night of their lives. There could not be a perfect day that represented two better people.
Tess and Nate – Congratulations again on this new adventure in your lives together! Thank you for being nothing short of extraordinary, and for living in every single moment of it. Love you both!
