Elizabeth and Peter – Terry Hills Golf Course Wedding Photography, Batavia NY

From the second I sat down with Elizabeth in a Starbucks almost a year ago, I knew their wedding was going to be a special one. She is one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met, so it was no surprise that Peter was just as wonderful.

We spent the whole day at the lovely Terry Hills Golf Course, which was the perfect setting for their minimalist wedding with an elegant twist. After some group-wide arbor jerry-rigging that involved some pipe cleaners and a curtain, we got Elizabeth ready to go marry her best friend.

Instead of a traditional bridal party, Elizabeth and Peter chose their two siblings to stand up next to them. They made their way down the aisle, to Peter’s dad, who ministered their ceremony. It was a beautiful reflection of who they are together, marrying the traditions of generations who came before them with touches that spoke to their journey together.

After some family portraits and a gorgeous sunset, their reception kicked off with sweet toasts, beautiful formal dances, and a packed dance floor. Mike from Toy Brothers killed it, per usual, and they danced the night away in celebration of a fantastic couple.

Elizabeth and Peter – Congratulations you two! Thank you for being so sweet to work with, your smiles filled up that whole room. So thrilled for you both on this new adventure together.
