Amanda and James – The Buffalo Club Wedding Photography, Buffalo NY
From the smile that greeted me upon entering their suite at Lafayette, to the looks exchanged between them on the Buffalo Club dance floor, Amanda and James were bursting with joy. Family was woven throughout their entire day, it was perfectly sentimental with a nod to family history and touches pointing towards their wonderful future together.
We started the morning at Hotel Lafayette, one of my favorite places to photograph in Buffalo. The suite’s are beautifully decorated in true Buffalo fashion, with dreamy light pouring through the windows. It perfectly accented the immaculate details that Amanda picked out. Amanda and James both have killer style, and their entire look highlighted that. From a modern Amsale dress, to a bright blue suit, to the sleek bun Amanda chose, it was such a cool combination for such unique people.
Even Mother Nature was on-board with James and Amanda’s wedding day. The morning called for rain, but the second we were about to leave for their ceremony at Hellenic Orthodox Church, the sun peeked through the clouds and stayed out for the rest of the day. The ceremony was a beautiful reflection of their respect for traditions and family, while working towards a new life together. The looks shared between them throughout the whole service were so sweet to witness, these two are truly made to be together.
After a brief stop at Delaware park for portraits, we made our way over to the Buffalo Club for their reception. In keeping up with the rest of their wedding day, it was an evening filled with sentimental toasts, hand-written poems, killer dance moves, and incredible people. The elegant decor of the Buffalo Club was the perfect backdrop for these two as they danced the night away with those they hold most dear.
