Cassie + Mike – Romantic and Candid Tappan Hill Mansion Wedding Photos – Tarrytown, NY

Cassie and Mike were another one of my extraordinary 2020 couples that pushed their wedding back a year to safely celebrate — and oh boy was it worth every minute of the wait. These two were troopers through freezing winds and were just determined to have the most fun possible, and that they did.

We started the day with Cassie and her best people and a whole lot of laughter. There were stunning details (Carrie Bradshaw would be wicked proud of those shoes), sweet moments with Cassie’s mother, and a whole crew of people that were over-the-moon for Cassie and Mike’s wedding day to finally be here. We buttoned Cassie into her magnificent dress and made our way to the veranda for the first look with Mike.

Now here is where the freezing winds come in, these two toughed it out for that gorgeous view. From the second they saw each other, their grins never dimmed for a minute. They laughed, they cried, they soaked in all of the joy of finally getting married. Their excitement only grew as their friends and family joined in for portraits and we laughed the afternoon away before their ceremony.

Surrounded by some seriously gorgeous florals and their favorite people in the world, Cassie and Mike were finally able to exchange their vows and seal it all with a kiss. It was the perfect ceremony for these two; full of equal parts joy and sentiment. They danced their way back down the aisle and straight into their party.

Their reception really was one for the books. There were some of the funniest toasts I have ever heard, a toddler in a car, and a jam-packed dance floor for the entire evening. There couldn’t have been a more perfect day to celebrate two kinder people.
