Jacquelyn and Caroline – Corn Hill and Memorial Art Gallery Engagement Session, Rochester NY
Jacquelyn and Caroline have that indescribable thing; it’s the feeling that immediately makes you think “oh, that makes sense” whenever you see them together. They balance each other perfectly and are a fantastic balance of sarcasm, kindness, and warmth. They met by chance through work friends and fell utterly in love.
We started their engagement session over beers, laughing our way through our weird dogs and cooking/cleaning habits (we each have the one partner that makes a mess of the kitchen while the other one follows us around cleaning as we go). Those grins only got wider as we wandered around one of my favorite places to photograph in Rochester — Corn Hill. It’s the perfect combination of downtown Rochester and gorgeous water, plus the sunset there is killer.
They are pure sweetness; Memorial Art Gallery was the perfect ending location for their session. There was eyes-closed laughter, leaning against office windows (sorry random strangers on the other side), and plenty of the Lord of the Rings references. There could not have been a better engagement session to close out 2018.
Cheers you two! I cannot wait until your wedding day, thank you for warming up that chilly afternoon. You’re the very best!
