Carolyn and Chris – Old Fort Niagara Engagement Photography, Youngstown NY

Carolyn and Chris are two of the warmest people you will ever meet. They are equal parts fun, sense of humor, and quirk — and are the perfect partners for each other. We met over a mutual organization, and have stayed friends over board games and geeking out over Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones. They danced their butts off at our wedding, and I cannot wait to photograph theirs.

They wanted an engagement session that felt like them, so it only made sense to start right in their living room. We chatted about all of the exciting things coming their way this year, and had a visit with their cat, Liz. Yes, like Taylor. Yes, they are amazing.

After a brief pause to game, one of their favorite things to do together, we made our way over to Old Fort Niagara. Now you need to know two things about this half. 1 – the fort has been important for both of them as individuals, and their lives together. 2 – There was an ice storm coming in and we had 30+mph winds hitting us in the face with ice. We laughed our way through the fort trying to keep warm, and having fun.
