Rachel and Adam are the kind of people that you meet and immediately see how much they are meant to be together. They work as a perfect team and support each other unconditionally through all of life’s adventures together. Their intimate wedding day was a wonderful tribute to their love for each other and their circle of people.
We spent the whole day at Bear Ridge Destination, a brand new venue owned by their friend. Rachel and her group were on one side of the wall, with Adam and his people on the other. It was such a relaxed and lovely morning. There were heartfelt notes and absolutely stunning details (come on now, that dress!!) along with a whole lot of laughter from their favorite humans.
After getting Rachel into said amazing dress, we made our way to the grounds right outside their rooms for their first look. From the second they saw each other, Rachel and Adam were completely at peace. We made our way through their portraits, narrowly dodging the rain, with nothing but beaming smiles and a whole lot of excitement.
That excitement only went up from there as they walked through the woods to the clearing for their wedding ceremony. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest (and some seriously gorgeous flowers), Rachel and Adam exchanged their vows and sealed it with a kiss. There wasn’t a person there who wasn’t over-the-moon for these two people.
In what is now one of my favorite new suggestion for couples getting married, they spent the first part of their cocktail hour driving around the area in a limo (with myself and the videographer in tow), getting some time to completely relax together before all of the bustle of their reception began. It was a refreshing break where they got to soak in that newly married glow.
As we made the way into their gorgeous reception, the people that they love were front and center. There was the most beautiful table set up that allowed everyone a perfect view of all of the main events. There were sweet speeches, beautiful formal dances, a delicious meal, and a sweet dance with Adam’s 90+ year old grandmother. The whole room danced the night away as we celebrated Rachel and Adam and this new adventure for them.
Cheers you two! Thank you for being nothing but wonderful!
