If there was a scale of nicest people in the universe, Alicia and Daniel would right up there. They are two of the kindest souls out there, and I am so glad they found their way (well, found their way back) to each other. They met in college as friends, and parted ways after graduation. Daniel was always in the back of Alicia’s mind as a “what if”, which turned out to be true when they reconnected years later. They are each the partner that the other one needs, and are each other’s perfect balance. We bonded on the phone over the magic that is NY food, and I was so excited for their wedding day from the start.
We started the day with each of their favorite humans — both the family they were born into and the one that have chosen for themselves– and both rooms were just so excited to finally celebrate these two. There was laughter, gorgeous details (let’s talk about those shoes please), and plenty of tears. From the sweet moments with friends, to crying with mom and dad, it was a morning to remember.
One dresses were on and we took a moment with Dad, we whisked them away to their beautiful ceremony. Amongst their very favorite people and the most beautiful flowers, Alicia and Daniel exchanged heartfelt vows and sealed them with a kiss.
After a stroll through Sunken Gardens for their wedding portraits, they moved the party right onto the dance floor for their reception. We danced, ate amazing food, listened to the sweetest toasts, and celebrated the heck out of these two magnificent humans. It couldn’t have been a better day.
Cheers you two! Congratulations on this next chapter of your adventure together!
